Event blurb

“We are a group of local professionals that meet every week to pass business leads/referrals to help each other grow our businesses.”

Event Summary

My friend Brett at Insperity invited me to attend the Snohomish County Entrepreneuers Group with him, saying it is one of the friendliest networking groups he’s been to (and he works in sales, so he is an expert on networking groups). I can confirm that this group is incredibly warm, and they all genuinely seem interested in supporting one another. Multiple times someone introduced themselves, only to have another person in the group testify that they have personally used the services described. It’s also quite a wide breadth of people, unlike other networking groups I’ve gone to. Artists, physical therapists, a paint-your-own-pottery shop, commercial real estate, community groups – more than just your typical financial planners and mortgage brokers (although a few of those, too). The group also has a very active WhatsApp group, and having lurked for a few weeks can say that it equally runs the gamut from sharing business advice to forming trivia teams to asking for a mechanic recommendation. If you’re a business owner on the north side of the Seattle area, I highly recommend coming and meeting this great group of folks.

Ticketing: Free, register on EventBrite
Attendance: There were about 15-20 people attending (low enough that I should have counted, big enough that I didn’t think about it until writing this)
Personal Bias/Reason I went: Growing my business, meeting more local entrepreneurs

Transparency/Communication
Minimal, just the EventBrite.

Event Goals
Everyone introduced themselves and shared their hopes for 2025, I feel like I got a good sense of everyone.

Reception
Warm and supportive!

Value
A trek for car-free me, but my buddy Brett is an excellent ride

Bottom line
Come if you’re at all interested!
